I've been trying to draw for the WoWTCG for 2 years and upperdeck ignores me the whole tme.

Upperdeck likes the illustrations for the WoW ccg to look like they were painted with oils. There was a lot of diversity in the earlier sets, but they're really trying to generate a definitive, classical look for the game.

Pick up 'The Art of the Trading Card Game' have have a look at the paintings. A lot of the commissioned artists have portfolios on DA if you have a look around.

I saw some very comic book type of stuff on the TCG.

I actually got the book the week it came out! I love it!

What gets me kind of bummed is that they don't even answer my enquiries.
I tried to contact the art director (even subscribed to linked in to do so) in charge of the TCG (even subscribed to linked in to do so) and i didn't even have an "ok we got it! thanks" aknowledgement.
I tried asking Jonboy if he could sort of...tell them about me or give me the art director's direct email so i could so but unfortunately he couldn't.

But thanks for the tip anyway Dave!
