Strands of Undeath by DaveAllsop Strands of Undeath by DaveAllsop
Magic the Gathering - ©Wizards of the Coast.

This one's a couple of years old but I'm still pretty keen on it. It's dark and unpleasant, and that's always good. I was using Photoshop in a slightly different way to how I am now, and I didn't know the tools as well. Sometimes the image would work out and sometimes it didn't. I think that time it did :-)

It's pretty tough because the standard has gotten so high now (I'm struggling to keep up myself).

Looks nastier when it's this big [bigger than the card-sized one anyway]. I always wondered if that's really the orzhov signet because it looks kind of different.

wow - this one really, really works! i can see the slight age difference, but it's still fantastic and far better than what most people can do with photoshop. i like that this dark, bizarre image is so brightly colored. really appeals to me, nice work!:D

Wonderful! It's great to see this piece in a higher resolution. There's an enormous amount of detail~.

F'n wicked.
Ya' know, it works well as "character" type pieces, or as stand-alone art. I think that's part of what I'm diggin' about your work.

It doesn't have the same vibrant and dynamic feeling that the newer pieces have - but it's still quite well done.
